VILLARS - GRYON
Located just 110km from Geneva and its airport, the area is renowned for being a family orientated resort, providing activities for all during both the winter and summer months.
In winter, the area is perfectly located to take advantage of the 120km of excellent piste. For beginners, both young and old, there are ski and snowboarding schools.
During the summer months, Villars is perfect for the dedicated hiker or rambler, with over 300km of walks in and amongst the areas magnificent forests. There is also a walk, which appeals to the younger members of the family; 'The Legend of Chavonnes.'
Villars also has its own golf course. Located 1600m above sea level, it is surrounded by spectacular scenery of both the Alps and also Mount Blanc. Other sporting activities provided by the area include tennis, mountain biking and horse riding.
For the children, there are a number of attractions such as the water and adventure parks.
